Which tests and grades do you cover?
Star Math for kindergarten to grade 8, Star Early Literacy for kindergarten and grade 1, Star Reading for grades 1 to 8, CMAS math for grades 3 to 8, CMAS science for grades 5 and 8, and CMAS English for grades 3 to 8. More tests and grades are on the way.
Is it only for Colorado?
For now, yes. We start with the tests Colorado schools give, for kindergarten to grade 8. Star tests are used in many states, so Star practice works anywhere.
Are you part of Renaissance, Pearson, or the Colorado Department of Education?
No. TestSprout is independent, and not affiliated with Renaissance Learning, Pearson, or CDE. The test names describe the tests we help children practice for. More on that.
Will practice raise my child's score?
We can't promise a score. Our summaries, emails, and AI never predict one; practice makes the format familiar and gives your child more time on the skills the test covers.
Do I need an account to understand a score?
No. The score explainer is free and needs no account.
How does my child sign in?
You sign in with a code we email you, then pick your child's profile. Children never get an account or an email. In a class, students sign in with a class code and a picture.
Does it use AI?
Yes, for the weekly plan suggestion and summary, and for feedback on CMAS written answers. It never gets your child's name or your email. What it gets, and what it never gets.
How do I delete everything?
Sign in, open Grown-ups, and delete the account. Everything goes, at once. You can also email privacy@testsprout.com.
