TestSprout Brand Guidelines
Brand guidelines · v1.0 · September 2026

TestSprout helps kids in grades K to 8 practice for the tests their schools give. The brand should feel calm and trustworthy to a parent and friendly, never babyish, to a ten year old.

The idea

One right answer, growing

A row of answer bubbles from a test sheet. One is filled in, and it sprouts. Practice turns a right answer into growth.

The sprouting bubble stands alone as the symbol. It reads at 16 pixels, so it carries the favicon and the app icon.

The wordmark is custom lettering: a heavy geometric sans with softened corners, straight stems slightly heavier than the curves, and a leaf cut into the o. It is not a font, so always use the supplied files; never retype the name.

blackOne color, for single-ink print, stamps, and faxes.

mono-primary-tintOne color in Leaf, on dark backgrounds.

Space and size

Clear space is one bubble

Clear space
Keep one bubble's width free on every side. Nothing else (text, edges, other logos) enters that zone.
Cozy files
Already include that clear space. Drop them into slides, documents, and vendor forms as they are.
Tight files
End at the artwork, with a 1% edge so anti-aliasing is never clipped. For the website and app, where CSS sets the spacing.
Social avatars
Use the social/ files. Platforms crop to a circle and ignore your margins, so these sit safely inside it.

Andika was designed for early readers: its single-story a and g match the letters children learn to write, and similar letters like b, d, p, and q are easy to tell apart.
